WHAT IS TEETH WHITENING?

We apply a whitening agent to the teeth and shine a LED Light over it. The lights are used in conjunction with a teeth-whitening substance, such as hydrogen peroxide or other whitening agents.
After you apply the whitening agent to the teeth, targeting the light on your teeth activates the whitener.

HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK?

Teeth color with age. The tooth’s interior, known as the dentin, yellows, and the enamel (the protective outer layer) thins from a lifetime of brushing. Lifestyle choices, from drinking coffee and red wine to smoking and taking certain medications can further discolor your teeth.
Whitening works in one of two ways. It either removes surface stains from the enamel or it changes the color of the dentin.

HOW LONG DOES TEETH WHITENING LAST?

It can last from a few months to up to 3 years – it varies from person to person. The whitening effect won’t last as long if you smoke or drink red wine, tea or coffee, which can all stain your teeth.
