WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a semi-permanent manual technique that uses tiny blades to create fuller brows. Microblading can be used on someone with little to no eyebrows by creating an illusion of a more defined and fuller brow.
Tiny hair-like strokes are made while pigment is deposited into the epidermal layer of the skin.
HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK?
The process is very precise thanks to the hand tool that is used. The tool works like a pen with the blade being a sloped with 10-12 little needles at the end – needles that don’t penetrate the skin but just delicately scratch the surface, much like a paper cut.
HOW LONG DOES MICROBLADING LAST?
Microblading, unlike tattooing, is not in the deep layer of skin, but more on the surface. This is also not permanent, and the colour fades within 18 months
